Confirmation Name and Sponsor

Your son or daughter needs to select a Confirmation name.
Choosing a Confirmation name is an opportunity to find a name that has special meaning to them, a name that will help them in their journey of faith. It is important to choose a saint whose story will inspire them in their life. By choosing a saint’s name, they are asking him or her to pray for them and guide them in a special way.

Each candidate invites an adult to be their sponsor. Choosing a sponsor is a very personal decision and usually this person is very important to them.
It can be their baptismal godparent, a relative, or a close friend whom they admire. The sponsor must be a confirmed practicing Catholic (not a parent though).

2024 Enrolment Fee for Confirmation is $150 which covers the cost of workbooks and associated printing of resources, pins, necklaces and certificates.

NB: No child will be excluded from participating in our Sacramental Program due to any financial concerns. Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please feel free to contact parish administration.

Agreement

The sacramental programme requires a committed partnership between families, candidates and parish. A parent or carer over 18 years must accompany the confirmation candidate for each of the lessons. Please confirm your preferred time
